http://between-thesheets.co.cc and the fact that Facebook have deemed any website with an extension of .co.cc as being Abusive and or Spam. Or in Facebook's words, 'Spammy', which coincidentally is a word that can only be found in the Urban Dictionary! So how then can a word that is not found in Roget's Thesaurus be classed as a word that Facebook can use in its TOC's (Term of Conditions) when it is supposed to be a legal document?
But I digress. It is not only my site, Between the Sheets but also my very dear and wonderful friend
Gina Kincade Mistress Journals forum that is being classed in the same light.
There is nothing abusive nor spam related about our sites. Both sites are available for up and coming writers of Erotica, to display their work be it in story or poem form. Both sites are clearly labeled 18+ and both sites cover disclaimers that we are not held responsible if anyone under stipulated age joins.
We are both parents of teenagers, yet we both know where and with what sites our teens join. It is called Parental Control and knowing what your child is doing. Do not blame the site owners of content that is geared towards Adults if you are unable to patrol or could not care less what sites your child visits.
If you do not like Erotica, and yes we are talking about stories that are written to excite, titillate and are explicit in the way they are written, then you are not being forced to read it. If you are watching T.V and a show comes on that you do not like, you turn it over? Yes? Well it is the same with links being advertised!
There is no one holding you to ransom to click on the link and investigate what it is all about, now is there.
So come on people, grow up and act your age and lets tell Facebook, that we are not toddlers that need someone to tell us what we can and can not view outside of their realm. That if we click a link, that is our right.
What I am now going to seriously urge is that you all please read
THE MISTRESS JOURNALS OF GINA KINCADE
and how eloquently she has put all of this.
Preview of Gina's Blog.
Please join me in the protest against Facebook's claim* that individual websites have been reported as abusive or spam and not just the extensions.

It is NOT the domains or the hosts as they claim on the Help Center page but the use of the .co.cc extension that follows the website name.
I might add that I failed to see any such notice the other day when I was looking so this must have been added recently as it was just found by my colleague and fellow author Monie Penny. Her site http://between-thesheets.co.cc has also been affected by this FB screw up.
Owners of websites with this extension have contacted FB on multiple occasions in regard to this issue, that has been occurring for over two weeks, and received no response as yet. Why does it give users the option to report that it is an error of they have no intention of checking into it??
